Ekiti House of Reps Candidate, Bimbo Daramola, Assures  Constituency Of Quality Representation

Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), for the House of Representatives  in the February 25, general elections for Ekiti North Federal Constituency 1, comprising Oye and Ikole local government areas of Ekiti State, Hon. Bimbo Daramola, mostly referred to as Congressman has said that the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, did not take into consideration the unintended consequence of naira redesign.

The former law maker said this while interacting with journalists at the Secretariat of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Daramola, who said he likes the idea of changing the currency, adding that he would have canvassed for if he had been in the house. He remarked that the stress people are currently going through in swapping  the old naira notes with the new ones was much but urged for patience if the tendency is to tackle vote buying. If the changing of currency would help  to sanitize the system, we can bear it. He advised.

According to him, “not targeting at anybody but targeting at everybody, not at somebody but targeted at everybody to ensure that we have a better society”

The candidate said vote buying is cancerous and that it would hit into the fabrics of this nation to the extent that election would just be a day of coronation of the people that didn’t worth one vote if care is not taken 

Describing his party, the Social Democratic Party (SDP), as the only party that has the historical reputation of progressivism to face the major political parties judging by antecedents, the Congressman said what he has done when he was a member of the House of Representatives and even after are enough to convince people to vote for him for victory at the poll.

Daramola, who said his achievements while in the office and even after was unparalleled, has promised again that his track records, experience, network and contact would enable him to deliver more, bigger and faster as he noted that no other contestant from any party in Ekiti North Federal Constituency 1, has the qualities such as proven courage, commitment, ranking membership status as well as evidence of an understanding of what the job entails.

Hon Bimbo Daramola  said  he was able to move forty motions and sponsored eight bills during the 7th National Assembly. He therefore urged the electorate not to gamble with the next four years of their lives as votes for him, Daramola would be an opportunity to better the life of his people again if given the opportunity.
