The Ekiti State Government has achieved remarkable success in the academic results of students in the Special Schools in the State with an overall performance of about 95%.
The Special Adviser on Special Education and Social Inclusion, Princes Adetoun Agboola who made this known in Ado Ekiti, said Governor Biodun Oyebanji at the emergence of his administration initiated a holistic compassion on children with disabilities in the Special Schools by showing commitment to inclusiveness and calling supports from individuals, NGOs and corporate organisations for generous donations to improve the deplorable condition of the Schools.
She stressed further that responses from various contributions provided funds in addition to Mr. Governor’s personal donations and Government inputs were used to address critical infrastructural challenges such as the construction of a Solar Energy Panel, and the construction of a drainage system which rapidly enhanced the Student’s learning environment.

Agboola while analyzing the 2023 NECO result of Government Secondary School for the Deaf in Ikoro Ekiti, lauded the performances of the students who scored a cumulative average of 94.88% at credit level in all the subjects offered.
