Ekiti State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social development has announced the postponement of the celebration of the International Women’s Day in the State, earlier scheduled to hold tomorrow Friday 8th March, 2024, indefinitely.
The State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Peju Babafemi, in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, explained that the postponement was necessitated by events beyond the control of the organizers.
The statement expressed regrets for inconveniences caused by the development and assured that new date for the event would be communicated later.
