Ekiti Assembly Congratulates Pa Ezekiel Olakunle Oyebanji @ 90

Ekiti State House of Assembly, under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye has extended its warmest congratulations to Pa Ezekiel Olukunle Oyebanji, the father of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his 90th birthday celebration.

A statement by the Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Hon. Babatunde Oke, in a glowing tribute to the nonagenarian, described Pa Ezekiel Olakunle Oyebanji as a pillar of strength and an exemplary figure within and outside the state who has demonstrated remarkable leadership qualities and unwavering support for the growth and development of Ekiti state.

The statement while appreciating his selfless contributions and the indelible mark on the lives of many, acknowledged his immense influence on the upbringing of H.E Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and his siblings, also expressed that his invaluable guidance and strong moral foundation have undoubtedly played a vital role in shaping the character and leadership qualities of our esteemed Governor.

In Hon. Babatunde Oke’s words describing Baba Oyebanji as a respected community leader, a great lover of his people and the man who saw tomorrow,

“History will record Pa Oyebanji as a forthright, kind-hearted and selfless man, who lived and worked for the welfare of the people. He personified the dream leader having demonstrated immense capacity to duty as a father, with outstanding achievements worthy of commendation being the progenitor through whom our Dear Governor learnt the leadership legacies of service, unassailable integrity and honour we are witnessing in BAO’s administration today Ekiti State.”

The House while wishing the Ikogosi- born nonagenarian many more years in great health, concluded by reaffirming it’s dedication to serving the people of Ekiti State with utmost sincerity and pledged to uphold the values that have been instilled in the younger ones by the exceptional leadership of Pa Oyebanji.
