
In continuation of his familiarization tour to security agencies within 32 Artillery Brigade area of responsibility, aimed at strengthening ties and enhancing synergy with other security agencies, the Commander 32 Artillery Brigade Nigerian Army (NA), Brigadier General Justin Ifeanyi, visited some key security agencies in Ekiti State on 18 February 2025.

Speaking during his visit to the Nigeria Police headquarters Ekiti State, Brigadier General Ifeanyi expressed his determination at improving on the already existing collaboration with the police and other security agencies, which he noted, will further deny non state actors freedom of action and provide a peaceful environment where business can strive for the good people of Ekiti State.
In his response, the Commissioner of Police Ekiti State Command, CP Joseph Eribo appreciated the Commander and his entourage for the visit, and stated that; “the NA and Police must work together as friends and colleagues who have the same goal of ensuring peace and safety in the society”. CP Eribo expressed his believe that the visit will no doubt further enhance the bond and synergy between both organizations. He assured the Brigade Commander of improved collaboration in order to ensure a safer and secured environment for Nigerians.
The Commander 32 Artillery Brigade, also visited the Department of State Services (DSS) Ekiti State, where he assured the DSS Director of improved synergy to adequately address issues of insecurity in Ekiti State.
Making his remarks, the State Director DSS Ekiti State, Mr Godwin Ejimofor Eze reiterated the need for security agencies to form a robust and formidable front in order to address the complexities of security challenges in the State and the country at large. The Director noted that the visit by the Brigade Commander is a testament and demonstration of his commitment to promote unity, cooperation and foster synergy between the NA and other security agencies.
He expressed appreciation to the Brigade Commander for the visit and assured that the DSS is willing and committed to assist the Brigade succeed in carrying out its constitutional roles of ensuring the safety and protection of lives and property of law abiding citizens of the state.

Brigadier General Ifeanyi also visited the Commander Ekiti State Security Network Agency (Amotekun), Brigadier General Ibukun Adewa (Rtd), where he stated that the essence of his visit was to form a robust collaboration and promote cooperation among critical security stakeholders in the state in tackling all forms of security threats. Brigadier General Adewa (Rtd) acknowledged the significant contributions of troops of 32 Artillery Brigade in ensuring the security of lives and property in Ekiti State, and assured of his commitment to continue to collaborate and synergize with the NA.
Highlights of the visit were the presentation of souvenirs, signing of visitor’s book and group photographs.
