This advice was given by the  Commander of Agro Marshals in Ekiti, Honourable Olamide Oni on Friday while parading some  suspected criminals at the Command Headquarters in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital.

Speaking with journalists, the Commander said that one Azeez Isiaka (28) raped a 15-year old girl at Iyin-Ekiti in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State on Thursday.

In his word, “the Agro Marshal men at Iyin-Ekiti got an information that somebody is raping a girl and they went there. When they got there, the rapist engaged in a serious fight with the Agro Marshal men. They  wanted to escape but our men were able to get one of them while the other one ran away.

As at time the suspect was being paraded, the little girl was said to be receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Ado-Ekiti. Exhibits found with the suspect are two full bags of Indian hemp.

In another development, the Agro Marshal men at Ijan-Ekiti in Gboyin Local Government Area of the State, received an information that somebody stole two kegs of fuel from one Mr. Olayemi Olalekan (38)

On enquiry, one Suberu Yaya (28) who identified himself as an hunter was suspected to have stolen the two kegs of fuel and was traced with the hunters’ uniform.

“When he was arrested, he made useful statement to the Agro Marshals men which informed the decision of the security agents to surmon the complainant, Olalekan to the office who claimed that Yaya stole the two kegs of fuel from him at gun point”.

On recovering the gun, the Commander explained that the complainant, Olayemi Olalekan was discovered to be one of the syndicates that usually siphoned fuel from the cargo airport of Ekiti State which he said he has been doing for long.
