The Governor Biodun Oyebanji Campaign Committee has expressed unwavering confidence in the success of the forthcoming APC primary election as well as a resounding victory of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in the gubernatorial election, following a high-level strategic meeting held today in Ado-Ekiti.
The Committee, comprising of senior party leaders and campaign strategists, reviewed ongoing grassroots mobilization efforts, stakeholder engagement, and the general mood across the state, declaring Governor Oyebanji as the overwhelming favorite due to his sterling performance and the broad-based support he continues to enjoy from the people of Ekiti.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Committee, Chief Alaba Bejide, lauded the dedication and effectiveness of local representatives across the 16 local government areas in projecting the achievements of Governor Oyebanji’s administration in all the 177 wards of the state, describing their efforts at grassroots mobilization as remarkable.
Noting that the Committee and representatives at the Local Government Areas and Wards levels are set to commence the fourth in the series of sensitization, awareness, and mobilization campaign across the nooks and cranny of the 16 LGAs and 177 wards in the State, Chief Bejide stressed that their efforts would not only help in consolidating the Governor’s popularity, but also assist in strengthening the party’s unity ahead of the delegate election slated for October 25, 2025, and the affirmation of Governor Oyebanji as the APC consensus candidate on October 27, 2025.
Also speaking at the strategic meeting, another leader of the Committee, High Chief Jide Awe described Governor Oyebanji’s leadership as a benchmark for progressive governance in Nigeria, adding that the Governor is worthy of commendation for delivering good governance, infrastructural development, economic empowerment, and prioritizing the welfare of the people.
He said “the achievements of Governor Oyebanji speak for themselves. From road infrastructure and improved healthcare delivery to educational reforms and job creation, the Governor has demonstrated uncommon dedication and competence. He is indeed a good and marketable brand that is widely recognized, associated with quality, and builds trust with the good people of the State through good and inclusive governance”.
According to him, the robust grassroots mobilization currently ongoing across all wards and local governments in the state emphasizes the unity within the party and the enthusiastic participation of party members, youth groups, and community leaders.
“We are fully confident that His Excellency, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, will continue his good work after emerging victorious in the gubernatorial election. Ekiti people have spoken as a united entity, in one voice united and are ready to reaffirm their trust in a leader who has delivered on his promises and earned their admiration.”
He urged all stakeholders to continue to engage peacefully, maintain discipline, and uphold the Omoluabi values that Ekiti people are known for before, during and after the gubernatorial election next year.
