The Adunni Olayinka Wellness and Diagnostic Centre in Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti has been described as a place to be when it comes to the maintenance and sustenance of good health.
The Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.Adeoye Aribasoye made the assertion during a visit to the centre for annual routine Medical check up.
According to him, for some time, it has become necessary for Ekiti Assembly law makers to come around and undergo annual Medical health check.
He therefore made a Clarion call to the entire people of Ekiti and it’s environ to know their health status and be well managed.
Mr. Speaker commended the prowess and doggedness of the of the management and all the Medical and Health workers for engaging and practicing good professionalism.
Hon. Aribasoye advocated a complete package of the Centre, where all that is required and needed for medical check up are within the Wellness Centre.
While receiving the speaker, the Chief Medical Director of the Teaching Hospital, Professor Kayode Olabanji expressed appreciation to the Speaker and the members of the House for coming around for Medical Health check and in particular for making it a point of duty to advocate and enlightened the general public on the need to do regular medical check up, live healthy and stay alive.
Prof Olabanji assured that the hospital will continue to do all it takes to ensure that people have access to good and qualitative health care.
