
The lawmaker representing Ekiti South Constituency 1 at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Adeniyi Ojuawo (AVM Rtd), has called on the Muslim community in Ekiti State and Nigeria at large to continue to keep the peace and promote oneness to actualise the dreams of the founding fathers of Nigeria.
Hon. Ojuawo, in a press release by his media team secured remarked while celebrating with Muslims on the completion of the fasting and prayers observed in the holy month of Ramadan.
He mentioned that the end of the holy month shouldn’t be the end of piety and purity among Muslims, but the beginning of a new era for growth and development in Nigeria.
“My earnest prayer is for our country to continue to enjoy the steady growth it is recently enjoying. We should all come together to embrace love and show care and compassion towards one another. This month presents us an opportunity to pray for our nation and eschew hatred and division.”
The Ise-Ekiti-born retired Air Vice Marshal also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continued effort at stabilizing Nigeria’s economy, while showering praises on Ekiti State’s Governor, H.E. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for walking the talk on his shared prosperity vision which has been birthing good dividends of democracy to the people of the State.
