
Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit PMS lowering it from N890 to N825 per litre a N65 decrease effective February 27 2025.
The price adjustment aims to provide economic relief to Nigerians particularly ahead of the Ramadan season while aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic recovery agenda.
This marks the second petrol price reduction by the refinery in February 2025 following an earlier N60 decrease.
In December 2024 during the yuletide season the refinery also reduced PMS prices by N70.50 helping to stabilize fuel costs and prevent seasonal shortages.
At retail outlets Dangote petrol will be available at: MRS Holdings stations N860 per litre in Lagos N870 in the South West N880 in the North and N890 in the South South and South East
AP Ardova Petroleum and Heyden stations N865 per litre in Lagos N875 in the South West N885 in the North and N895 in the South South and South East
Dangote Refinery reassures the public of a steady fuel supply with adequate reserves for local consumption and exports to boost foreign exchange earnings.
The company urges marketers to support the initiative ensuring that Nigerians benefit from the price reduction in line with the government’s drive for energy self sufficiency and economic stability.
