The Executive Chairman of Ado Central LCDA, Engr Toyin Ojo, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his appointment to the Board of Niger Delta Power Holding Company by the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to represent the South-West region.
While describing the appointment as timely and a round peg in a round hole, he said recently, Governor Oyebanji has electrified many towns and villages that have been off the National Grid within the first few months of his administration and as well commissioned the 3.6 Megawatt Ekiti Independent Power Project (IPP) in Ado Ekiti in a move seen as a major step towards the industrialisation of the state and also to woo investors, local and foreign.
In a statement by his SA Media and Publicity, Oladeji Adebayo, the Chairman said, on behalf of the people of Ado Central LCDA, ‘I want to congratulate you on this laudable height that you have achieved within one and a half years of your administration as Ekiti Governor.’
Ojo said it was befitting enough to say you are making Ekiti proud among the comity of States in Nigeria and reiterated his commitment and support to the Governor’s administration, saying any day, anytime the people are solidly behind him.
