The Citizens in Politics Assembly, CIPA, has announced the extension of its ongoing zonal activation meetings across the country, including state-level engagements.
Statement by the group’s Media Director, Mr. Charles Abere, ANIPR, CIPA Leadership said the extension became imperative to ensure a thorough, inclusive, and well-coordinated process ahead of the formal commencement of election campaigns in August 2026.

According to CIPA, the strategic engagements are designed to set the agenda, align structures, verify readiness, and finalize preparations across all levels of the organization.
The activation meetings are being held sequentially across the six geopolitical zones: North Central, North East, North West, South East, South South, and South West, with corresponding engagements at state level.
CIPA reaffirmed its commitment to issue-based politics, youth inclusion, and transparent engagement as key pillars of its activities ahead of the campaigns.
The organization called on members nationwide to remain active and participate fully in all scheduled activities.
According to CIPA, the mobilization effort is part of broader initiatives to strengthen democracy and deepen citizen participation in the electoral process.
