
The founder of Yemi Oshe Foundation, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele Omotoyinbo, the founder of YEMI OSHE FOUNDATION has vehemently condemned the killings in Benue State.
Omotoyinbo made this known in his condolence message to Nigerian leaders, which was made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital through his media aide, Oluwaseyi Akinluyi
The APC new member in Ekiti, who described the scores of people killed by the attackers in Benue State, as not only unfortunate but very barbaric, has called on government at all levels to look into the security of lives and property of the citizenry.
The foundation founder, who really expressed his displeasure over the incident noted that insecurity remains the major challenge of this country judging by the recent killings in Benue State.
Adding that the State which used to be the food basket of the nation is now finding it uneasy to feed her own people not to talk of extending to other States of the Federation. “This is really disheartening”, the philanthropist said.
While commending President Tinubu for deploying security personnel to the state for peace keeping purposes, Omotoyinbo who described the killings as a national tragedy urged the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to come up with a law that will forestall recurrence of such incident in the country.
