Architect Deji Adetuberu Bags Chieftaincy Title ‘Ayiye Omo of Igede-Ekiti’

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Architect Deji Adetuberu, has been honored with the chieftaincy title of Ayiye Omo of Igede-Ekiti.

The conferment was performed by His Royal Majesty, Oba James Adelusi Aladesuru II, the Onigede of Igede-Ekiti, during the annual Igede-Ekiti Day celebration on Saturday.

The installation ceremony witnessed a large gathering of community members, dignitaries, and traditional leaders.

The title symbolizes Adetuberu’s contributions to the community’s development and well-being.

Meanwhile, Architect Deji Adetuberu has endorsed the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji for a second term in office.

The declaration came during a grand reception on Saturday following Adetuberu’s conferment with the chieftaincy title of Omo Ayiye of Igede-Ekiti.

During his address, Adetuberu highlighted the remarkable achievements of Governor Oyebanji, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, healthcare, education, economic development, and agriculture.

He emphasized that Oyebanji’s administration has been committed to enhancing the welfare of the people of Ekiti State, calling on the Igede Community to rally behind the governor’s continuity agenda for sustained progress.

“The governor has performed brilliantly in delivering key infrastructure, improving healthcare and education, boosting our economy, and supporting agriculture.

“It is only logical that we support his re-election to maintain the momentum of development that we are witnessing in Ekiti today, ”Adetuberu noted.

Highlighting the importance of consistency in governance, Adetuberu appealed to the Igede community and Ekiti State at large to embrace Oyebanji’s continuity agenda.

“The transformation we are witnessing today in Ekiti State is the result of strategic planning and commitment. To ensure that these efforts are not halted, we must support Governor Oyebanji’s second term,” he said.

The APC chieftain urged all stakeholders within the state to set aside political differences and unite behind Oyebanji’s leadership. He noted that such unity is essential for the state’s progress, especially in a political climate where developmental efforts can easily be disrupted by changing administrations.
