Anambra Decides: Live Results from polling units

Although voting officially ended at 2 p.m., the Electoral Act allows voters already on the queue before the closing time to cast their ballots. Counting has since commenced in several polling units where voting has been completed.

As of press time, collation of results was ongoing in most local government areas, with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) expected to announce official figures after verification at units, ward and LGA collation centres.

Security agencies have maintained a visible presence across major towns, while the general atmosphere remains calm and orderly.
