The old students of Ola-Oluwa Muslims’ Grammar School, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, have had their election conducted over the weekend at the school premises in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital where new exco members emerged to pilot the affairs of the association for the next four years.
Speaking with journalists, the newly elected National President, Retired Brigadier-General Tajudeen-Olabode who commended everyone that took time out of their busy schedules to come for the election, promised to justify the confidence reposed in him through robust representation.
Addressing the gathering shortly after the election, the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Alhaji Moshood Bello Adebanji, admonished the elected executive members to make good use of their various positions to contribute to the development of their Alma mater as he equally urged them to always keep in touch with other alumni of the school home and abroad.
The newly elected executive members of the Association are; Retired Brigadier General Dele Tajudeen-Olabode – National President, Mrs Abiodun Christy Akintade – the National Vice President, Dr Bankole Obileye -National General Secretary, Mr Oladimeji Felix Fele – Treasurer and Mrs Adeniyi Temitope – Social Welfare Secretary.
Mr Femi Aladesiun – National Publicity Secretary, Mrs Olubunmi Jejelowo – Internal Auditor, Pastor Funmi Bamidele – Assistant General Secretary, Mrs Iyabo Ajijola – Assistant Financial Secretary.
Others include; Mr Oluseyi Akinluy, a.k.a Omo Akin – Assistant National Publicity Secretary, Mr Idowu Owoeye, Legal Adviser, and Deacon Olajide Abolarin – the Chief Whip,
The swearing-in of the new excos will take place in November this year as announced.
