All Is Set For 3rd Primus Media Award In Ibadan

All is said to have set for the media community in Ibadan to witness another edition of the much anticipated Primus Broadcast Media Awards scheduled for Friday, September 8, 2023 at Mauve 21 Event Center, Ring-Road, Challenge, Ibadan Oyo state.

The Project Coordinator, Mr. Afoda Samuel in a chat with  newsmen ahead of the event said the rationale behind the award series that has entered its third edition this year is to recognize promising and diligent younger practitioners, encourage and position them for value-added growth to rectify some observed anomalies in the industry.

Afoda, who turned from legal practice to broadcaster, said he established his firm Primus Media City in 2018 with the vision and mission to fulfill the expansion of the frontiers of the Nigerian Broadcast Media with research, trainings and applications.

Oba Alayeluwa Adedokun Abolarin, Aroyinkeye 1, the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Osun state will grace the event as the Royal Father of the Day while the Oyo State Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade will be Special Guest of Honour, and Dr Ayo Ajewole, famously known as Woli Agba will be the host for the day.

Apart from young media practioners, especially broadcasters from the South West part of Nigeria that will receive professional awards in various fields of broadcast media, some prominent people that had been friends and promoters of broadcast media will also be recognized.

Among well meaning Nigerians that will received award of recognition during the event includes Prophet Gabriel Demola Amusan of Agbala Gabriel Global, Prophet Kolawole Olakanmi Onala of CCC Onala Parish, Arch. Akinola Akintayo, the CEO Oduak Project Limited, Engr. Tosin Shittu, CEO Design Bricks Homes and Properties, Dr. Tope Odetayo the CEO, Top Success, Dr. Agboola Olaoluwa John, of Unique Fertility and Wale Oladiti, CEO Wheeldrop Logistics.
