The Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, AFUNTADE 1, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his prestigious award of the Best Governor of the year 2023, in Community Development by the Daily Independent Newspaper.
Oba Alabi who spoke today in his Palace in Ilawe on the development described the Governor’s award as well deserved.
Statement by the Media Adviser to Alawe, High Chief Ajibade Olubunmi says, Alawe, a former Chairman of Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers noted that Governor Oyebanji’s impactful strides in the development of the various communities, particularly at the grassroots, endeared him to the people of the state and consequently to those outside the state which accorded him high recognition throughout the country and beyond.
The monarch believed that the award was also in recognition of Governor’s sincerity of purpose in bringing native sagacity and openness to meet the yearnings of the people in nooks and crannies of the state through the provision basic infrastructures .
Rejoicing with the Governor, the Alawe expressed the opinion that the governor would ,in future, win many laurels for his unique style of politics and governance which is being applauded by the people .
The monarch further congratulated the wife of the Governor, Dr.Olayemi Oyebanji and the entire family on the meritorious award bestowed on the Ekiti State Governor by the Daily Independent Newspaper.
