Hon. Femi Akindele, representing Irepodun/Ifelodun Constituency 1 in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, distributed free petrol to commercial motor drivers, okada riders, and tricyclists at Owesu Oil, Iyin Ekiti, and Igorfem Oil & Gas, Igede Ekiti.
Addressing them, Akindele said, “I can’t celebrate Christmas without involving you, you’re pillars of the state administration.” He cited support for President Tinubu, Senator Bamidele, and Governor Oyebanji.
Akindele, who’d earlier bought fuel from both stations, noted this was his 9th fuel giveaway in 7 years, complementing Senator Bamidele’s vehicle distributions.
Beneficiaries including union leaders Mr. Akinrotimi Busuyi (NURTW) and Alhaji Kilani Oyebanji (RTEAN), praised Akindele, saying the gesture (3 litres/okada rider, 5 litres/drivers and tricycles) would cushion yuletide costs.
They vowed continued support for him and Governor Oyebanji.
