Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North, has said he has no intention of reconciling with his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, alleging that her recent behaviour has raised serious concerns about her well-being.
In a detailed statement shared on social media, the lawmaker claimed that Regina has been struggling with the influence of hard drugs, which he said has led to irrational conduct and episodes of violence. He maintained that his only demand is for her to undergo professional therapy.
“Senator Ned Nwoko is not chatting with Regina and does not want her back in the house. All he is insisting on is that she should be encouraged to go to therapy,” the statement partly read.
Nwoko also released a WhatsApp message dated October 17, which he described as the last communication he had with Regina, noting that it contained his final position regarding her rehabilitation.
The senator dismissed allegations made by Regina accusing him of drug use and sexual misconduct. He described the claims as baseless and a product of her imagination.
“It is important to state that Regina continues to be completely under the influence of hard drugs and whatever she says is a lie from the pit of hell. For example, the allegations of drugs and sex are a figment of her wild imagination and can never be substantiated,” he said.
The public dispute marks another escalation in the ongoing marital crisis between the pair, coming after multiple claims and counterclaims in recent weeks.
