The APC Chieftain dismissed claims by what he called mischief makers that Governor Oyebanji concentrating projects in Ado-Ekiti, stressing that road construction and rehabilitation works have been spread across the state.
Adelugba listed projects such as the Ikole–Ara-Isinbode, Isaba–Ikoyi–Igbemo, Ado–Iworoko–Ifaki, Ikere–Igbara-Odo, Itawure–Okemesi, Ido-Ile–Okemesi, Ikere–Emure, ring road, among others, adding that several schools and hospitals have also been renovated and equipped under the present administration.
The APC stalwart also commended the governor’s agricultural initiatives, which, according to him, have boosted food production, improved security in farming communities and contributed to stabilising food prices.
He attributed the progress to sustained support for farmers and interventions along the agricultural value chain.
Adelugba further praised former governors of Ekiti for their support and cooperation with the incumbent, noting that their contributions have helped in maintaining stability and continuity in governance.
He stressed that Oyebanji’s background, including his role as secretary to the committee that campaigned for the creation of Ekiti State and his service under successive administrations, uniquely positions him to consolidate development in the state.
On political appointments, Adelugba appealed to party members who are yet to be considered to remain patient and continue working for the party’s success, assuring them that opportunities would come in due course.
He also urged citizens, especially those who just turned 18, those relocating to the state and those who lost their voter cards, to take advantage of the voter registration exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in order to participate in the forthcoming governorship election.
