Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, Dr Temitope Alake has charged Muslim faithful and Nigerians in general to imbibe the spirit of unity and brotherliness as they celebrate this year Eid El Kabir.
Dr Alake made the call in his Sallah message to the Muslim ummah while praying for sustainable progress, unfettered peace and security in the Polytechnic and Nigeria as a country.
The Rector implored all to soberly reflect on and explore the lessons of this festive season and demonstrate the virtues of forbearance, sacrifice and love for one another.
He further enjoined all to remain patriotic and committed to the course of unity, peace and stability of the Polytechnic Community and the Nigerian society at large
He pleaded with all to do everything with moderation in the course of the Sallah festivities as he wishes all Nigerians a very peaceful , happy and memorable Sallah celebration.
