JAMB Releases 2025 Mock UTME Results

This was made known in a statement on Sunday by JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, who said candidates can check their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number they registered with.

According to JAMB, the mock exam is not compulsory. It is meant to test the board’s new innovations for the year and give candidates the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment ahead of the main UTME.

“A total of 200,115 candidates initially indicated interest in the mock examination. However, two later withdrew, leaving 200,113 candidates officially registered,” the statement said.

Out of the total registered, 73,844 candidates were absent, while 88 others could not be screened due to biometric verification issues. As a result, 126,181 candidates successfully took the exam.

JAMB further revealed that results for 115,735 candidates are now ready and accessible, while 10,446 are still being processed and will be released soon.

The board also apologised for the delays and hitches some candidates experienced during the exam. It explained that the issues were linked to newly introduced features aimed at enhancing the conduct of the forthcoming main UTME.

“The mock exam is designed to help the board identify and fix any lapses in its system, while also providing candidates with useful experience to perform better in the main exam,” JAMB stated.

It urged candidates and stakeholders to continue to support its ongoing reforms to ensure a smoother and more efficient examination process.
