The leadership of the National Coalition of Independent Support Groups for BAT and Shettima (NCISGBS) has joined other prominent Nigerians in congratulating the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila and Senator George Akume on their appointments as Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu and Secretary to Government of the Federal, SGF, respectively.

The national executives of NCISGBS led by its President General, Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi in a congratulatory message to Gbajabiamila, said the speaker’s appointment as Chief of Staff to the President “has been generally celebrated having effectively moderated the House of Representatives.”

The group in a statement issued and made available to newsmen also joined members and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in felicitating with the House Speaker as he reached the exalted office, saying “we have no doubts that you will bring your expertise and wealth of experience to bear on this pivotal role at the centre of national governance”.

The statement reads in part: “He is well fitted to oversee the hob and clearing house for the governance of our nation. We have no doubts that you will bring your expertise and wealth of experience to bear on this pivotal role at the centre of national governance.

“This is a huge and critical position, being the general coordinator as well as the essential link and connection with all stakeholders and institutions of governance in this country. We are reassured that your wealth of experience both in governance and in the legislature has adequately prepared you for this very challenging and vital role in the quest of great success in governance and progress of our nation”.

The statement also described the former Governor of Benue State as a seasoned administrator whose wealth of experience will add immense value to the present administration, while commending President Tinubu for honouring Benue by appointing a son of the state to the exalted position of SGF.
