A press statement by the coordinator of Newshereandthere, Adewumi Ademiju stated that the “News Magazine is established to serve as a veritable platform for the general public on gender reportage aimed at National development.
“The clamour for the development of women/girl Child and Child care in general is crucial for human advancement,it has gained more momentum which necessitates the importance of harnessing Journalism as a profession in boosting the call for a tremendous positive outcome”.
To commemorate the maiden edition of Newshereandthere Magazine, some distinguished personalities would be honoured based on their contributions to gender equity.
Women of Substance to be recognized with different award categories are Ekiti First Female Governorship Candidate,Erelu Kemi Elebute- Halle with the award titled- Asset to Women folks
- Speaker Ekiti state House of Assembly: Rt.Hon. Olubunmi Adelugba with the award titled,Pride to Womenfolks
-Convener Ekiti Online Market Mrs Jane Adeyemo (Isabella) with the award titled,Icon in Women Entrepreneur.
