FUOYE: Buhari Sets To Commission TETFUND Projects

Following an impressive leadership style of the Vice-Chancellor of Nigeria’s fastest growing university, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria, Prof. Abayomi Sunday Fasina, tens of projects would be commissioned tomorrow by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Projects, sponsored by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), was completed in record time last year.

Officials of TETFUND, who were on an inspection tour of the 2020/2021 annual projects in September last year gave a clean bill of health to the projects, expressing satisfaction while eulogizing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fasina and his eggwigs for turning the university into a tourist attraction for learning within a span of two years of his administration.

Its leader, Mrs Aderoju Shitta, who on behalf of the team ahead of the commissioning, spoke glowingly of the projects, saying her team was impressed with Fasina’s style of leadership.

Other members were Mr Gbenga Ajayi, Mr. Tijani Ibrahim and a Quantity Surveyor and COEASU’s President, Dr. Smart Oluijbeko.

Meanwhile, in a statement signed by FUOYE registrar, Mr Mufutau Adesina Ibrahim and released to journalists in Ekiti State by the Public Relations Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. Foluso Ogunmodede, said President Muhammad Buhari would be represented by the Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo.

It reads:”Commissioning of TETFUND Projects on the university campus by Honourable Minister of Industry,Trade and Investments.

The Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investments, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo is scheduled to visit the University for the Commissioning of some TETFUND Intervention Projects on behalf of Mr. President, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR.”
