Mojisola Meranda, who recently resigned as Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, has been sworn in as the Deputy Speaker.
Her swearing-in followed an immediate nomination after she stepped down amid the ongoing leadership crisis in the Assembly.
She was picked as Speaker after 36 lawmakers sacked Hon Mudasiru Obasa.
But she resigned on Monday during plenary according to her to protect the institution of the Assembly.
