30 Dead, Two Injured In Ondo Auto Crash

The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ondo, Samuel Ibitoye, confirmed the incident on Sunday. He explained that the crash resulted from a head-on collision between two vehicles, with excessive speeding and traffic violations as contributing factors.

Ibitoye revealed that 30 passengers were burnt beyond recognition in the collision. He urged drivers to exercise caution and patience on the roads to prevent such accidents and safeguard lives.

The bodies of the victims have been taken to the General Hospital, Ore, while the two survivors, who sustained severe injuries, are currently receiving medical treatment at the same facility.
