Ekiti FADAMA Cares Hails Oyebanji For Prioritizing Farmers’ Welfare … urges beneficiaries to make judicious use of equipments

Okunlola stated this in Ado-Ekiti while reflecting on the interventions of Oyebanji in agricultural sector, especially his kind gestures towards the farmers in the just concluded year.

Speaking with journalists, she said the state’s helmsman has provided free equipment for farmers for easy farming likewise pigs, goats, chickens for rearing.

This gesture according to her is invaluable in order to resist and survive the pangs of the economic downturn.

Her words, “We thank our governor for his support for farmers in Ekiti. His interventions reach all LCDAs, LG.

“On behalf of Farmers of Ekiti, we thank him so much. We also thank the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Mr. Ebenezer Boluwade and the Commissioner for Budget, Oyeniyi Adebayo, now the Chief of Staff,  for their continued support”.

On his part, a member of the Ekiti House of Assembly, representing Ido-Osi Constituency II, Honourable Ayorinde Oluwayomi, said the state government has distributed chemicals, spray pumps, equipments, Goats, Pigs, among others to farmers in the state.

He urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the equipment distributed to them for their benefits and the collective realisation of the shared prosperity agenda of Biodun Oyebanji.

“We thank the governor for allowing FADAMA programme in Ekiti. Farmers benefit chemicals, Spray pumps, equipment, Goats, Pigs, among others.

“We urge the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the equipment. FADAMA is meant to eradicate hunger through farming. They should take proper advantage of the opportunity FADAMA has provided.”

Fadama Cares communication officer, Yomi Ogunrinde also added that the state government has constructed roads leading to farms, to make transportation of produce easy for farmers.
