INTERPOL’s Statement
INTERPOL clarified that a Red Notice serves as a global alert to law enforcement agencies to locate and provisionally arrest a suspect pending legal action. It is not an international arrest warrant but a request from a member country.
The agency urged the public to report any information about the suspects to local police authorities, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in apprehending these individuals.
