The Executive Chairman of Ekiti East Local Local Government Area of Ekiti State,Hon. Oluwasegun Samuel Ojo, has felicitated the people of the area, especially Christian faithful, as they celebrate Christmas today, Sunday December 25, 2022.
In a release signed by the Council Head of Information and Service and made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, Prince Adeola Alex FAFURE, the Chairman said “Christmas is an important day of worship and remembrance, because it is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the son of God who came to redeem all mankind and call them to himself.
“On behalf of the management and Staff of Ekìtì East Local Government, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance.
“It is my prayer on this day that the joy and happiness never seize in your lives as we celebrate. Happy celebration to us all”.
