The Executive Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government Area, Hon. Olusoga Andrew Ogunsakin, has allocated land to the Nigeria Association of Local Government Pensioners, Okitipupa Branch, for the construction of its secretariat.
Ogunsakin made the commitment in December 2025 during the Association’s End-of-Year and Awards Ceremony held at the Local Government Secretariat.

The Chairman directed the Association to commence work on the site immediately and assured that the Local Government would support the construction of the building. He also advised members of the Association to prioritize their health at all times.

The Association pledged its unalloyed support and cooperation with the council in the development of Okitipupa Local Government.
Olowoselu further disclosed that arrangements were underway for the foundation laying ceremony and fund-raising for the secretariat project, and urged all stakeholders to work together for the timely completion of the building.
Present at the event were the Secretary to the Local Government, Mr. Femi Oladokun; the Local Government Engineer, Mr. Babafemi Adetoye; Elder Ebun Fagbemigun; the Secretary of the Association, Comrade Adegboye Ayeyi; and other members of the Association.
