In line with Federal Government’s drive to widen access to quality and affordable education, the Federal College of Education, Ilawe-Ekiti has commenced admission into its Dual Mandate NCE–Degree Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The programme integrates NCE and Degree training into a single 5-year cycle, eliminating the need for UTME and reducing academic disruptions through a stable calendar.
Key features include: direct entry without UTME, flexible O’Level requirements, guaranteed NYSC, NELFUND sponsorship eligibility, and mandatory entrepreneurship training* for all students.
Education stakeholders say the model addresses two critical national needs, producing more qualified teachers and equipping graduates with self-reliance skills to reduce unemployment.
The College Management urged eligible candidates to apply early to benefit from the new pathway.
