The Citizens in Politics Assembly (CIPA), has officially commenced a series of activation meetings across its zonal structures in the six geo-political zones of Nigeria.
The strategic engagements are designed to set the agenda, align structures, verify readiness, and finalize preparations ahead of the official kick-off of the election campaign in August 2026.

In a statement issued on Friday, National Public Relations Officer of the group, Mr. Ayodele Abere ANIPR, said the zonal activation meeting marks a critical phase in the organization’s roadmap toward a coordinated, people-driven, and issue-based campaign.
According to the statement, the leadership emphasized that a strong and well-aligned grassroots structure is central to CIPA’s vision of delivering credible representation and responsive governance.
The activation meetings holds sequentially across the North Central, North East, North West, South East, South South, and South West zones.
Adding that each meeting brings together zonal coordinators, state chairmen, youth and women leaders, and key stakeholders to review progress, address challenges, and adopt a unified operational plan.
CIPA, however reaffirmed its commitment to issue-based politics, youth inclusion, and transparent engagement as it prepares for the formal commencement of campaigns next month.
The organization called on members across the country to remain active and to participate fully in the zonal activities as part of efforts to strengthen democracy and deepen citizen participation.
