The Pro-Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Engineer Kayode Ojo, has felicitated the Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele on his 61st birthday.
In a statement by his media aide, Alhaji Deji Aiyelabowo, Kayode Ojo stated that Bamidele, a committed democrat has continued to show commitment to the progress and stability of Ekiti state and the country in general .
He beseeched God to grant him good health as he continues in the selfless journey of service to humanity, the people of Ekiti State and Nigeria at large.
Engineer Ojo stated that on his behalf, the family and the good people of Ekiti State, he’s pleased to extend his heartfelt congratulations to the Senator on the beautiful occasion of his birthday.
“On this momentous day, I join you, your family, friends, well wishers and associates in extending our best wishes for a joyous birthday celebration.
“May the Almighty God continue to bless you with good health as you continue your dedicated and selfless service to our beloved State and nation.”
Ojo wished Bamidele a memorable birthday, more prosperity and longevity of life, with which Ojo said he is hopeful the Senator would utilize in contributing to the balancing of temperate powers, not only in Nigeria, but in Africa which the lawmaker has been exposed to.
While the All Progressives Congress chieftain said: “the bond of brotherhood that holds us together stands years before now and I can vouch that you have been a good ambassador of Ekiti State in the upper chamber as being attested in your brilliant representation at the Red Chamber and which has elevated you to the position of the Senate Leader.
Engineer Ojo, said the distinguished Senator should understand that it’s God that gave him the second chance of being a Senator which subsequently made it possible for him to become a Senate Leader, urging him to use the opportunity to always consider the general interest of Ekiti people in his actions without submitting himself to emotions that would negatively affect the general interest of the people.
