The Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State Command, CP Falade Adegoroye Michael, has assured parents and candidates of a safe and orderly environment for the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Computer-Based Test, while urging all candidates to remain law-abiding throughout the exercise.

The assurance follows CP Falade’s inspection tour of approved JAMB centres across the state today, in compliance with the directive of Inspector-General of Police IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, for Commands to provide adequate security for candidates and JAMB officials.
“We have deployed adequate security personnel across all approved JAMB centres to ensure a hitch-free exercise,” CP Falade said.
Operatives drawn from Area Commands, Police Mobile Force, Divisional Headquarters, and Tactical/Intelligence Units have been instructed to maintain surveillance and security for the duration of the CBT.
During the tour, the CP warned all deployed officers against unprofessional and corrupt practices. He directed them to handle cases of disorderliness, malpractices, security breaches, and complaints with professionalism, legality, fairness and respect for everyone’s rights.
Statement by the State PPRO, SP Sunday Abutu says Falade appealed to parents to caution their wards to shun acts that could disrupt the examination.
“While wishing all candidates the best, I urge citizens, especially candidates, to support and cooperate with the Police during and after the exercise,” he said.
Members of the public are encouraged to be vigilant and report any suspicious person, group, or activity to the nearest Police Station or call 08062335577.
