Dr. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha has formally resigned as Honourable Minister of State for Labour and Employment, marking the end of a significant chapter in her service journey.

In her statement, she expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for the trust placed in her and thanked ministry staff for their dedication and professionalism.
Onyejeocha, who previously represented Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency in the House of Representatives, highlighted achievements in strengthening workers’ rights, enhancing workplace safety, and expanding employment opportunities during her tenure.
Her resignation is part of a wave of ministerial exits, with others joining the fray in pursuit of gubernatorial ambitions.
