The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has issued a stern warning to individuals seeking to represent the state in the National Assembly, cautioning against misrepresenting Governor Biodun Oyebanji as having endorsed them as his preferred candidates.

In a statement signed by the State Chairman, Hon. (Barr) Olusola Elesin, the party clarified that Governor Oyebanji has not endorsed anyone for the National Assembly positions and emphasized that the APC is a democratic party that believes in free and fair competition.
The party urged all aspirants to respect the democratic process and refrain from misrepresenting the Governor or any other party leader, warning that it will not tolerate any attempt at name dropping or undermining of the party’s democratic processes.
The APC encouraged Ekiti citizens to verify information through official party channels and assured the public that every aspirant will be given a level playing field towards the National Assembly election.
