LASG Presents Official Vehicles to Level 17 Officers

The Lagos State Government has presented new official vehicles to Level 17 officers in the state public service as part of efforts to strengthen service delivery across ministries, departments, and agencies.

The announcement was made by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, who said the initiative is aimed at supporting senior officers responsible for implementing government policies and programmes.

According to the governor, the vehicles were allocated to directors who serve as key administrators within the state’s public service. He noted that these officers play an important role in coordinating activities and ensuring that government programmes are effectively carried out across various sectors.

Sanwo-Olu explained that providing the vehicles is a practical step toward improving the efficiency of top civil servants, enabling them to perform their duties more effectively and remain committed to the goals of the government.

He emphasized that a motivated and well-equipped public service remains central to effective governance. When officials have the tools needed for their responsibilities, he said, they are more likely to take ownership of their roles and maintain a high level of productivity.

The governor added that the move forms part of the state government’s broader strategy to strengthen institutional performance and raise the standard of service delivery across the public sector.

Officials of the state government described the initiative as one of several measures aimed at improving working conditions for senior public servants and enhancing operational effectiveness within the Lagos State public service.
