Engineer Olaoluwa Dawodu (EOD) has formally inaugurated Ward Coordinators across Ikole and Oye Local Government Areas as part of intensified grassroots mobilization efforts in support of the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

The inauguration ceremonies, which recorded strong attendance from party faithful, community stakeholders, and members of the Inner Caucus, marked a significant step in strengthening ward-level structures ahead of the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti State.
Speaking at the event, EOD emphasized the importance of grassroots organization in sustaining good governance and continuity.
“The strength of any political movement lies in its grassroots structure. Today’s inauguration is not just symbolic; it is strategic. We are building a disciplined and coordinated team across Ikole and Oye to ensure that the achievements of Governor Biodun Oyebanji are sustained,” EOD stated.
He commended Governor Oyebanji’s administration for promoting stability, inclusive governance, and developmental progress across Ekiti State.
“Governor Oyebanji has demonstrated purposeful leadership and continuity in governance. The coming election is about preserving progress and expanding opportunities for our people. We must take this message directly to every ward and every household,” he added.
EOD further outlined his mission to support initiatives that promote education, youth engagement, and welfare support for vulnerable groups, noting that political leadership must remain people-centered and development-driven.
The newly inaugurated Ward Coordinators were charged to carry out their responsibilities with integrity, unity, and discipline, while maintaining strong engagement with their communities.
Reacting to the development, Mr. Abiodun Ajewole from Ikole, described the inauguration as “well structured and motivating.”
“We are energized and ready to mobilize effectively. The vision is clear, and we understand the responsibility placed on us,” he said.
Also speaking, Mrs. Adeyemi from Oye LGA expressed confidence in the coordination process.
“The organization and clarity of direction show seriousness. We are committed to taking the message of continuity and development to the grassroots,” she noted.
The enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by the coordinators reflected a readiness to take ownership of the mission ahead.
With this strategic structure now firmly in place, the movement enters a new phase of coordinated mobilization and community engagement, positioning Ikole and Oye at the forefront of efforts to consolidate support and secure victory in the forthcoming governorship election.
