The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a revised timetable for its nationwide congresses, national convention, and other related activities ahead of the 2026 general elections.
According to a notice shared on the party’s official X handle on Friday, the updated schedule outlines new timelines for internal party activities, including the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.
The ruling party disclosed that the forms will be available for purchase and collection only at the Directorate of Organisation, 2nd Floor, APC National Secretariat, No. 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse 2, Abuja.
Party officials explained that the review of the timetable became necessary to align with organisational needs and to ensure smooth, transparent, and orderly processes across all states of the federation.
Under the revised arrangement, the APC said the schedule will guide its internal elections, nomination procedures, and other preparatory engagements leading to the 2026 polls.
Emphasising compliance, the party warned that only nomination forms obtained from the Directorate of Organisation at the national secretariat will be recognised as valid.
Separately, the APC also announced adjustments to the 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee, citing zoning considerations as the reason for changes in leadership and membership.
The party noted that the adjustments are part of ongoing preparations for the 2026 national convention, a major event expected to shape its leadership structure and strategic direction ahead of the general elections.
