He described himself and his other two colleagues conferred with honours as role models and prayed God to guide them to do the work of a proper role models.

“We have become role models for Nigerians, the graduating students, those that are still in the school and those yet to be admitted”. MOB stated.

Considering the recent unfortunate incidents in the State, Bamidele still appreciated God for making the event possible as he commended the  Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for taking the battle out of the State to see the Service Chiefs in Abuja which brought about additional troops deployed and the helicopter despatched to the State to be hovering round the the forests of Ekiti and Kogi States in search of the kidnapped school children and to go after those who murdered two traditional rulers of the State in cold blood.

Delivering the 8th Convocation lecture of the Institution titiled, “the Failure of Success”, the JAMB Registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede noted that the irrefragable truth about life is that success and failure are two sides of the same coin.

He explained that two opposites dominate and animate life saying when they are understood, the undesirable opposites could be minimised at individual, societal and national levels.  It’s all about doing the right things and doing things right. Oloyede added.

Stressing that the quest to attain success should remain evergreen and that under no condition should there be complacency. He said one may fail as a successful person if one is not humble, diligent, disciplined and self-aware.

To effectively manage success, Professor Oloyede therefore gave the following advice; be prayerful, stay hard working and humble, set new goals, embrace learning and personal growth, surround yourself with the right people, maintain work-life balance, give back and contribute, celebrate milestones and self-discipline.
