The duo who went round the major places in Ado Ekiti, the state capital to inspect the effectiveness of the exercise warned the people caught for not complying to desist from the act.

Speaking with newsmen during the exercise, the Commissioner for Environment, Erelu Tosin-Aluko Ajisafe noted that the level of compliance has improved but explained that there’s still room for improvement. She expressed concern about Oke Isa market where marketers are still recalcitrant.

The SA/DG OTSD, Dr. John Ekundayo, who was part of the inspection also expressed his happiness as he promised that the office of Transformation and Service Delivery would not stop at supporting the Ministry of Environment in its commitment to making Ekiti an epidemic free state.
