Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has swiftly rejected an earlier social media post suggesting his separation from wife Annie Macaulay-Idibia, declaring that his Instagram account was compromised by hackers.
In a direct statement shared on Sunday, the award-winning singer urged his teeming fans to disregard the previous announcement, emphasizing that the post was not authored by him.
“My Instagram account has been hacked, efforts are being carried out to take back control #onelove!” 2Baba wrote, moving quickly to quell speculation about his marital status.
The couple, who have been married since 2012 and share two children, have long been considered a prominent power couple in Nigeria’s entertainment landscape.
