A call has gone to government at all levels to prioritise the welfare of the less privileged in the new year to avert the recurrence of tragedies in the country.
The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi 111 made the call in his Goodwill message to the people.
According to him, the economic situation of the country needs the attention of the well to do in the Society to bring succour to the generality of the citizens.
He noted that this season is the appropriate time to make meaningful resolutions for personal growth , which will have positive impact on the Society.
The monarch however, appreciated the various groups in Ekiti State for their peaceful co-existence in the outgone year and advised that people should keep it up.
Oba Adejugbe pointed out that entering into a new year is to learn from the past and step into the new dawn with hope and open hearts.
The Paramount ruler wishes all and sundry a new year full of endless possibilities, boundless and unforgettable moments.
