2024 CHILDREN’S DAY: Ekiti ALGON Chairman Urges Children To Remain Focused, Shun Social Vices   … Commends Gov Oyebanji for providing conducive learning environment for students 

The Chairman who said, education is the best legacy to be given to  children, called on parents and guardians to prioritize the education, health and morals of their children for a secured future.

Hon. Ojo gave the advice at the 2024 Children’s Day celebration held in Omuo Comprehensive High School, Omuo Ekiti where all schools from the local Government converged.

In a statement by Kehinde Fasiku, the chairman described children as God’s precious gifts emphasizing the need for their moral and educational nurturing. He urged parents and guardians to invest in their children’s education, provide moral training, and instill in them good cultural traditions.

The chairman charged the children to be honest and shun social vices that could destroy their future while reiterating that parents should be more alive to their responsibilities on their children for a secured society.

The ALGON chairman commended  Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji for providing an enabling learning environment for students through his numerous interventions in schools renovation, provision of furnitures, laboratory equipments, books and employment of qualified teachers among others 

The Children’s Day celebration featured presentation of gifts items to pupils/students as the children entertained audience with cultural dance, fashion parades and match past among others.

In attendance at the occasion are; The Vice Chairman of Ekiti East Local Government, Hon. Are Sunday, the Secretary to the Ekiti East Local Government, Hon. Olajide Akindele, Supervisors, Advisers, Local Government management staff, parents and teachers among others.
