11 Injured In Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Auto crash

The incident, which occurred around 7:30 a.m., involved a Mazda bus, a Mack truck, and a Toyota Hiace bus.

According to TRACE spokesperson Babatunde Akinbiyi, the accident was caused by the truck maneuvering into a private company’s premises, excessive speed by the Mazda bus, and loss of control by the Toyota Hiace bus upon sighting the crash.

A total of 21 people were involved, including 12 men and 9 women, with 11 injured victims—8 men and 3 women—taken to Idera Hospital in Shagamu by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
